4. File
الملف يحتوي على مستندات مهمة. The file contains important documents.
Al-milaaf yahtawi ‘ala mustanadaat muhimmah.
استخدمت الدفتر لتدوين الملاحظات. I used the notebook to take notes.
Istakhdamtu al-daftar litadween al-mulahazaat.

5. Lamp
المصباح في الزاوية. (The lamp is in the corner.
Al-misbaah fi al-zaawiya.
الإضاءة ضعيفة في المكتب. The lighting is weak in the office.
Al-iḍā’ah da’eeafah fi al-maktab.

Pronunciation:
Ana ‘indi maktab, ada’u ‘alayh al-kutub.
Ana ‘indi kursi, ajlis ‘alayh tawaal al-yawm.
Fi al-maktab ‘indi haasoob, a’mal ‘alayh.
Wal-milaaf fi al-maktab, hafazt fiih kul shay’.

Translation:
I have a desk, I put my books on it.
I have a chair, I sit on it all day.
In the office, I have a computer, I work on it.
And the file in the office, I keep everything in it!
