- Takbeer al-Ihram (تكبيرة الإحرام): Raise your hands and say:الله أكبر (Allahu Akbar – Allah is the Greatest).
- Recite Surah Al-Fatiha (سورة الفاتحة): After Takbeer, recite Surah Al-Fatiha.
- Recite a Short Surah (سورة قصيرة): After Surah Al-Fatiha, recite another short Surah.
